Reliable hardware knowledge...
We
have found that most of our clients are not willing to make an effort
to stay ahead of or informed about computer hardware. Why should they...that's
not their business. Before finding us they bought what was on the store
shelf at the time or on the recommendation of that "that reliable brother-in-law
with an extensive knowledge of computers". They made a few mistakes. It
is our business though which is why they rely on us. We have found that
a piece of hardware or a PC can have hidden costs just like that new piece
of software with it's voracious appetite for more hard drive space than
you have. Many PC manufacturers cut corners leaving you with one or two
cheap, unreliable components that can cause more problems than the whole
PC is worth. The cheapest solution isn't always the best solution. That
cheap solution could cost much more down the road with service calls.
Computeam builds between 500 and 1000 custom built machines a year all
of which fill specific needs reliably and cost effectively. We have been
through the ropes when it comes to finding a reliable piece of hardware
at a cost efficient price. We use only reliably branded products such
as Intel motherboards and video, Impression monitors and Kingston network
interface cards. We don't look for the cheapest vendor, just the most
reliable ones. These manufacturers build not just reliable hardware but
easily interchangeable hardware. That is exactly what we want in our custom
built PCs, reliable, interchangeable, cost effective for solutions now
as well as in the future.
